Last week we had some really nice weather. I was able to open the windows and get some fresh air .... ahhh, nice.
A couple mornings later, this is what we woke up to.
We got 6-8 inches of snow. To most of you, that is nothing, however for my kids that amount of of snow is the most they'd ever seen in person. School was cancelled and I think the kids went through 6 pairs of jeans each before the day was over. They loved exploring and pegging each other with snowballs.
The birds appreciated the little bit of seed we had left in the feeder. We had a variety of birds and a couple of squirrels camped out on the front porch for a couple of days.
You have to break us in easy.

Oh it looks so pretty! Even though they went thru all their jeans, I bet they weren't complaining about the day off eh? lol Hey I love those birds gathered around the feeder. That is neat!

Finally taking time to read your blog. No excuses. This is great, and so well done. I will bookmark this, and check weekly.
Especially as we are just up the road.
Lovely to see your family.
