We went to our first ever Cinco de Mayo celebration tonight.
It was primarily friends from our church and it was held in our neighborhood recreation center. Everybody brought a Mexican dish to share. There were tons of kids :-) and tons of really good food, and we got to try food that we've never had before.

There was a pinata and we had some pretty wild hitters.
And finally the ultimate goal ..... CANDY!!!

Hey, you know how we spent our Cinco de Mayo? Getting calls from your cell phone all evening and finding no one there on the other end. "Oh, it's just Nelladee's cell again." It's a good thing we love you so fricking much.
Oh, sorry about that.... I just wanted to hear the comfort of your voice .... because I love you so fricking much.
You could have at least comforted us back with some heavy breathing or something. All we got was scary scuffling sounds, as if your bloody corpse was being dragged to its dump site.
Nelladee, Mike is wondering why you didn't post his pic :).. We had great fun, let's do it again next year!
