A couple of weeks ago, we took a little day trip so see a few of the local sights.
The fist stop was in Washington DC at the National Harbor where the "Awakening" sculpture has been placed. (it used to be in a park)

Wait...Clancy's in the Navy? Since when?
Every time I see that sculpture I think of that movie...was it A Few Good Men? I can't remember. But it started out with that guy in the park with that sculpture. Pleasant.
It was in "The Net." Phew, I can sleep tonight now.

clancy is going to be a nuke. he is scheduled to leave for boot camp next spring, but is trying to go earlier. not sure how all the wedding stuff will fit in, but as long as either the wedding or the navy gets him out of my basement, i'm good.
