This is one of Kirk's classic books. I am assuming that one of the cats just wanted to better himself by trying to read it!
I hope the bookmark is in the correct place which would mean that Kirk has passed the shredded part.

You know, Mice & men probably sounds much more appetizing to a cat ;-) We'll keep it away from them. And Callie is NOT slow and out of touch with reality. She just doesn't get a worked up over things!
