Sad News
Very sad news. Our hatchling, "Ernesto", didn't make it. I read that when they hatch late in the year, they usually stay in the nest (which is underground) and hibernate through the winter without ever seeing daylight. I think he was forced out of the nest early because of the storm and was just too young to make it. Unfortunate.

Oh how sad - he was such a cute little guy!
Wyatt and Levi Savage are very sad to hear that. They thought finding that turtle was the coolest thing ever. They were disappointed when I told them they would not be finding them outside here.
